Most major indices are moving marginally lower, continuing their quiet start of the week. The Russell 2000 is the only index sitting in the green.

The action comes from lower-than-average volume and relatively even breadth figures.

Four sectors are marginally in the green, with Industrials (XLI) and Consumer Discretionary (XLY) in the lead. On the other hand, Communication Services (XLC) is lagging due to profit taking, while Real Estate (XLRE) is underperforming due to a rise in the 10-year yield and the NAHB Housing Market Index miss.

The Ten-Year Treasury Yield (TNX) is continuing its rebound, up 1.5 basis points today and testing its 50-day moving average.

The NAHB Housing Market index fell to 32 in August from 33 in July and below forecasts of 34.
