The market is mostly marking time, holding up after a four-day “losing streak".  Large-cap quality and small-cap momentum make for the perfect barbell in this anxious world.

Despite Nvidia (NVDA) accounting for 8% of the S&P 500, the market is higher 10 days after Nvidia (NVDA) posts results more often than not.

Moments ago, President Trump heaped praise on Jensen Huang.

Additionally, moments ago, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced there will be no full jobs report for October, as they could not collect certain data due to the shutdown. However, some of October’s data will be released in conjunction with November’s report in December. The news sent the odds of a rate cut lower, which in turn is pressuring the stock market.
