Major indices are in the green as the Street braces the trade headlines, the first wave of second quarter earnings and tomorrow’s inflation report. 

Stocks were a little unchanged after Trump threatened secondary tariffs of up to 100% on Russia, if the country doesn’t make progress toward ending its war with Ukraine in 50 days.

Bitcoin (BTC) rose above $122,000 per token for the first time as Congress opens “Crypto Week” as lawmakers weight 3 key bills this week: GENIUS, CLARITY, Anti-CBDC.  

Communication Services is the best performing sector this afternoon as a key component Netflix (NFLX) releases its quarterly results after the close on Thursday. Financials are the second-best performing sector as several big banks report before the bell, tomorrow.  Energy is the worst performer, trading lower in conjunction with oil prices.
