Steady As She Goes

As the Big Beautiful Bill makes its way closer to the President's desk, the market trades with cautious optimism. 

Most of the big movers are higher on news, although the excitement is clearly on AI inference plays. 

We are long in half of these in the Hotline or Swing Strategies trading model portfolios. 

Meanwhile, the ten-year bond yield continues to edge lower.

Kevin Hassett was on your show discussing the financial outlook of the nation. He talked about how much income will be brought in from tariffs as a positive. Your buddy Gary Kaltbaum repeatedly emphasizes that tariffs are a tax on American businesses. Get Gary on to explain why tariffs are bad and one of the talking heads that say it is good and hash it out. Our tariffs good or bad for America?
