Drumroll for Amazon (AMZN), which reports after the close. R&D spend is critical for tech companies, and nobody comes close to Amazon. Although, as a percentage of revenue, META and Nvidia (NVDA) invest twice as much. How important is this in tech names?
The last couple of years the company has had lots of misses, and three of the last four quarters where a disaster for the stock.
