The market came out the gate with some gusto, although volume was tepid, it was a good look.  

But sideline money didn’t take the bait. The better part of valor will be to buy after earnings are posted, nibble on pullbacks, until the releases are made. 

Even at the open, angst over earnings has Technology (XLK) in the red - but now the selling is more pronounced.

I would say many strategists are still advocating for a retest of the lows and for would-be buyers to wait.
