Afternoon Note
Markets are in a holding pattern, even though the NASDAQ has slipped. The economic condition that is shaping up for the economy isn’t inflation (which will fade over time) or recession (which is probably the current reality for half Americans), but instead, it is stagflation.
It’s a condition we rarely hear about and never want to live under. But global fund managers take it far and away to find the best way to describe the global economy over the next twelve months.

Today, the Dallas Fed Manufacturing report declined for the eleventh straight month.

Buyers are seeking bargains in oil and banks today. Yet, it is not enough leadership to force the issue; although, it's a positive sign.
