Major indices are mostly edging lower but have been dancing around their baselines.

The magnificent Seven are split between red and green. Tesla (TSLA) is in the lead after Elon Musk confirmed the testing of robotaxis without safety monitors in the front.

Five sectors are moving higher with Health Care (XLV) in the best performing sector with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) in the lead after they caught an upgrade from Bank of America (BAC). Meanwhile, Energy (XLE) is lagging as oil and natural gas prices pullback.

The December NAHB Housing Market Index edged higher to 39, from the prior of 38, and above expectations of 38. Current conditions edged up 1 point to 42, while future sales also rose 1 point to 52.
