Indices are higher across the board as investors react to the latest slew of earnings and reports US and Iran may be closing in on a peace deal.

The heatmap is mostly green, showing all magnificent seven names moving higher. Nvidia (NVDA) is leading the pack following an announced partnership with Corning (GLW) that will see Nvidia make a $500M investment in the company. On the other hand, there are some pockets of red mainly in software (IGV), Energy (XLE), and Utilities (XLU)

Seven sectors are higher, with Industrials (XLI) out in front. The sector is benefiting from the move lower in energy prices. Communication Services (XLC) is in second place and getting a boost from a favorable earnings reaction to Walt Disney (DIS) and Live Nation Entertainment (LYV).

Treasury yields and oil futures are continuing lower today as Iranian peace prospect increase.

In AI news today, SpaceX and Anthropic made a deal to give Anthropic access to the Colossus 1 AI supercomputer (over 220,000 GPUS), which it will use to improve its Claude Pro and Max capabilities.

Meanwhile, Berkshire Hathaway’s (BRKB/A) McLane is planning to roll out Aurora (AUR) powered driverless freight routes in Texas and across the Sun Belt by the end of the year.
