The market is seeing a major improvement from its opening weakness with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones reaching fresh all-time highs.

Same as yesterday’s push, Technology (XLK) is making an important contribution to the indices gains with Apple (AAPL) as the mega-cap standout and Nvidia (NVDA) continuing yesterday’s strong momentum. However, software stocks are under pressure following yesterday's rally.  Defensive sectors such as Health Care (XLV) and Consumer Staples (XLP) are underperforming.

OpenAI announced today a Codex update, expanding beyond software engineering with new plugins for banking, sales, internal workplace apps, and professional document editing. 

In similar news, Anthropic is expanding access to Mythos, its cybersecurity AI models, to 150 more organizations worldwide. The company also plans to release new models with Mythos-level cybersecurity capabilities in the coming weeks. Not surprisingly, cybersecurity stocks are lower this afternoon.
