Yesterday, other mega-cap names joined half of the “Mag Seven” to power this rebound, which continues to impress.

However, three of our open positions in the model portfolio made the top advancers list, including J.B. Hunt (JBHT), which has regained momentum, following Amazon's (AMZN) announcement to open its logistics operations to other businesses.

Looking for Fresh Fields

Applovin Corporation (APP) made a great move off the lows of the session.

I really liked what I saw in yesterday’s session. Some high-flyers gave up ground, and investors sought opportunities elsewhere, including (IGV) software. IGV is making a series of higher highs and higher lows, and the next move higher is sure to attract bigger buyers beyond the tourists and tire-kickers.

Green Day

It was a solid session across the board.

Niches continue to act amazingly, including the ‘Space Trade,’ as the data center narrative shifts towards terrestrial centers. I especially like the action in smaller space names, such as Redwire Corporation (RDW), which posted favorable earnings. You need exposure to the ‘Space Trade.’

Today’s Session

A major intraday reversal in the South Korean KOSPI Composite Index (KOSPI) helps to set the tone for Technology (XLK) names here, which sets the tone for the overall market.

Monster beat on the Empire State Manufacturing report, jumping 8.6 pts to 19.6 in May. This is the strongest reading over four years.

New Orders index also reached an over four-year high at 22.7. On the other hand, the shipments index dropped 1.3 to 18.9.

The robust activity also saw a continuation of price surge. The Prices Paid and Prices Received Index reached their highest level since 2022.

 

Yields continue to march higher as they have all week.
