The market bolted out of the gate, but as soon as the move stalled, sellers stepped in.  The good news is there is green across the screen, but troubled areas remain concerning.

Private equity names opened slightly higher, but are once again struggling.

Reminder of the Session

It would be a huge “buy signal” to see the NASDAQ Composite (COMPQ) take out its intraday high.

For now, the main test is whether it holds above its 200-day moving average.
