The leading Economic index saw its lowest reading since April 2020, falling again to -0.6%, well below the consensus of -0.3%.

 The S&P 500 gains are the only component keeping the LEI index from falling further.

So far, Energy continues to hold onto gains thanks to refineries. 

Stocks are modestly higher with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq flat, but on track to post the 4th consecutive week of gains.
