Payne's Perspective: December 30, 2019: Rebirth Of Blue-Collar Pride
12/30/2019
This is the time of the year when we reflect on our lives and try to assess ways to make things better in the New Year. When it comes to the stock market, it’s hard to imagine a more eventful year than 2019, which saw major challenges and headlines dominated by pure speculation. Even more problematic were the headlines and stories that were either bogus or disingenuously laid out to dissuade the general public, particularly the active investors. Sadly, those incorrect headlines and biased stories will probably increase in 2020 in a major effort to dislodge President Trump from office. Any economic softness will be seized upon to resurrect recession talk. There will be ebbs and flows, but 2020 should continue to see an overall improvement.
