Kimi K3 hit as an 800-pound bomb dropped from a stealth bomber. The development has made waves in technology and politics. There is a camp concerned about Chinese companies piggybacking (stealing) from US frontier AI models – called distillation. But this goes even deeper and could require the White House to make sure we don’t do all the heavy lifting and give away the AI future.
