Broad Market Goldman Sachs sees the S&P 500 at 8,000 by the end of the year, and at 8,300 in 12 months. The move would be driven by earnings, which the firm expects to rise from $275 in 2025 to $385 in 2027.
The irony for all of us who cheer on the rally, in part, on earnings, is that negative-earnings companies are beating positive-earnings companies.
