The Artificial Intelliegnce (AI) storyline continues to drive the market beyond Technology (XLK) and Communication Services (XLC). The move in Consumer Discretionary (XLY), was powered by Apple (AAPL), which gave a very impressive impersonation of a sleeping giant waking up.

Apple Cooked

Tim Cook showed up to the White House with a gift of $600 billion in spending that will create 450,000 jobs and give work to 79 factories. The stock posted its best performance against the Nasdaq-100 (NDX) in years.

Speaking of Apple (AAPL), the top ten stocks in the S&P 500 (SPX) now make up 76% of the total market cap. By far the largest concentration in U.S. history. Nvidia alone is about 8%.

Thus, 26% of the S&P 500 is AI-based, which has become the clear deciding factor for performance.
