Dividends have been overshadowed by high-growth and AI-driven stocks this year, leaving the group trailing the broader market year-to-date.

Lower rates could fuel a rally, particularly if the 10-year yield (TNX) breaks beneath the key 4% level. A decline in interest rates benefits dividend payers as money market funds and bonds yields move lower and investors look to equities to find yield.
