They are all the rage again, which means hucksters will be out in force with some too-good-to-be-true dividend ideas. A mad dash for yields has impacted the banking community, which is struggling to compete with +4.0% money market funds. The U.S. Treasury Bills (T-Bills) are also very attractive, and Certificates of Deposits have returned with a vengeance. Amidst all this, more individual investors are now just Googling for the highest yield without regard to other important ramifications.
