Technology (XLK) stocks took it on the chin while Energy (XLE) rebounded, and investors flocked to defensive sectors. In many ways, growth names held up better than expected, considering the huge spike in the ten-year bond yield last Thursday. Investors are grappling with inflation, the Fed, and the impact on earnings while guessing when the worst will be baked in the cake. The answer is soon.
