Joe Biden has been declared the 46^th President of the United States, and while there will be some legal challenges, investors must understand the implications.

Over the past three weeks, I have laid out the stakes and potential reactions to a variety of outcomes.  At the moment, I think Republicans will retain control of the Senate, and that means so much for the economy and investors.

There are slightly more than 50 days before those Georgia runoffs. Right now, few believe Democrats will win either, let alone both. However, it’s never over until the hundreds of millions of folks flood into the state, and the vote occurs.  For now, I would focus on a portfolio that assumes a GOP Senate, but I suspect from time to time, the stock market might get spooked.
