The tariff battle has been one that’s been brewing for decades reflecting the loss of millions of American jobs and weak efforts by previous presidential administrations to get China to play nice.  Over that period, we have experienced rapid depletion of jobs and hopes in most of the United States.

Most Americans understand this, and in fact, most intuitively understood this long before there was a President Trump.   It’s not just blue-collar workers and farmers in the United States, but its throughout western nations. The loss of economic clout is in large part to allowing the riches to leave in return for cheap stuff has created groundswells of resentment and burgeoning revolution.
