It was easy to forget about dividends in 2023 and 2024, but more investors are considering them during the turbulent market of 2025.

I suspect even more will seek the comfort of dividends as yields come down during the year, especially those who had been camped out in money markets the last two years.

The focus has to be on large-cap quality names like those in the Dow Jones U.S. Dividend 100 Index.

The annual returns have been impressive, and while some may point to recent underperformance, I'm more excited because there will be a revision to the mean.
