The market shifted back to its 2022 losing ways last week as bond yields edged higher and the U.S. Dollar (USDXY) regained strength. Cheaper crude oil didn’t help even with the economic ramification, or perhaps because of it - read recession. The June bounce is still intact, but Wall Street is speaking in near unison that the move is premature and doomed to fall short. Only a few think the rally is something special. But the experts are trying to talk a stall and fall into being. Their affirmations (and you thought these things could only be positive) rang loudly all week, led by Morgan Stanley (MS).
