Speaker Pelosi’s plane landed in Taiwan without incident, but saber-rattling is moving beyond rhetoric to an announcement of military exercises.  

As that moment of anxiety was easing, the market was finding its footing, with the NASDAQ leading the way, and the S&P 500 nearing a major test of resistance.

Still, there is cautiousness in the session led by Utilities and Health Care.

It would be very impressive to see the major equity indices finish higher.
