The pattern this week has been to gallop out the gate a few lengths and then put it in cruise control until the bell.

The Open Economy names are leading the way today, as some mega cap growth names thread water.   I still cannot get over how amazing those numbers from Lowes (LOW) and Target (TGT) were this morning.  I think they have become more intriguing than their larger rivals Home Depot (HD) and Walmart (WMT).  But if this economy continues to rebound, there will be opportunities for all the names with the right products and leverage.

Big Mega Cap Next Up

The big earnings report after the close is Nvidia (NVDA,) which has lived up to hype from a decade ago and then some.  In fact, I would say it is the preeminent semiconductor company in the world, surpassing Intel (INTC) along the way.

The company has a great track record of beating the street.  In fact, according to Street Insider, Nvidia has beaten Wall Street estimates every quarter since November 2010.  That is Mindboggling!

Consequently, the stock has enjoyed meteoric growth and some think this is just the beginning.
