Once again, financial data is helping the market, although it’s largely mitigated by the drama in Washington, D.C.  Durable Goods, are items that will last at least three years, but in reality, they last longer. Businesses were making these investments in February.

• Headline +1.7% to $235.4 billion (estimate +1.3%)
• Civilian aircraft +46.7%
• Ex-Transportation +0.4% (sixth consecutive monthly increase)
• Capital Spending +2.6%

The underpinnings of economic renewal are moving full steam ahead, and while there will be bumps in the road, I don’t see this being derailed.
